Q:Will this work in my wives MSi u1350x.
A:Unfortunately we don't have enough details on this system. Please run the system scanner http://www.crucial.com/uk/systemscanner/ on your system and it will confirm exactly what memory your system needs.
Dell have stated (as does Crucial) that the Dell Dimension 9200 XPS 410 (which are bascially the same) only takes 4 x 1GB modules; a maximum of 4GB)
I have read on many forums that 4 x 2GB wsill work. So I purchesd 4 x 3GB mamory modules from Crucial and they worked pefectly.
Ran my PC all weekend (48hours) with 8GB without a glitch and a good performance increase.
my scan shows that my PC has a 1Gb and a 1mb memory modules installed. Also that it has a memory limit of 8192MB. Does this mean I cannot install, for example a 1GB module. Ideally I would install two 2gb modules at least. Any help with my options here would be helpful.
I would like to upgrade ram on my Asus P8P67 LE mobo. I've looked into the configurator on the site but i get different model numbers of that in my store, altrough the specs are the same.
Will following kits fit my mobo and which one would you recommend me? I'm using my computer for audio production and i'm not overclocking it.
I'm finding lots of post about putting the faster one in the slower slot (it will just perform at the slower speed) but can I go the other way? Can I use my memory from my dell optiplex 755 (5300) in my dell optiplex 360 (6400)? They are both still PC2.
Thank you for contacting us today. It does appear that the memory you are looking at matches the specs of the Micron part, but it has not been tested with your system. We can only guarantee these modules to be compatible with your system: http://www.crucial.com/usa/en/compatible-memory-for/ASUS/x99-e-ws
However, if you do purchase that kit with us and it does not work we would be happy to refund it if you return it within a 45 day period. Please let us know if you have any other questions or concerns.
