Q:Will this work in my wives MSi u1350x.
A:Unfortunately we don't have enough details on this system. Please run the system scanner http://www.crucial.com/uk/systemscanner/ on your system and it will confirm exactly what memory your system needs.
It doesn't look like the precision T7910 has been tested with Crucial memory yet. Any ETA on that? Suggestions on what I could buy now? Looking to drop 768 GB in it.
I am trying to confirm the compatibility of a Micron Memory Module in a Dell PowerEdge R610.
The memory in question is: MT72KSZS2G72LZ-1G4M1A5BE (Micron Data Page)
I spoke to a very nice represenative on the phone from Crucial and he was able to confirm that the closest non-quad ranked memory to that part number would be CT5194475 (Crucial Data Page), and he could confirm that would work in a R610.
Can anyone tell me for sure that the Micron Part I currently have is compatible or incompatiable? I attempted to reach Micron's customer service, but it is only a web form and I have yet to recieve a response since attempting to contact them on 3 Sep 2014 and again today.
I forgot to click "Emal me when someone replies." and want to see when someone replies.
Thank you for contacting us today. It appears that the two parts are slightly different. CT6131084 is the equivalent to CT102464BF160B. The parts you have on hand, CT8G3S160BM, is a part that is Mac Specific. The two modules are very similar, however, and you should have no issues using this memory in your Tecra Z40-A-00K. Please let us know if you have any other questions or concerns.
